KBL trade sends Charles Rhodes to Busan KT SonicBoom

Terrence Leather will join his seventh KBL team. After being with the Busan KT SonicBoom for four days, the team has decided to trade Leather to Incheon ET Land Elephants for Charles Rhodes.

Rhodes returns to Busan KT SonicBoom where he was drafted in 2010 and spent two seasons with the squad.


There were various rumours spreading around the Korean league that Rhodes and Busan KT SonicBoom coach Jaon Chang Jin had a falling out which resulted in Rhodes’ trade to Incheon where he played two seasons.

“The Incheon players and Coaches are family to me, everyone there I got along with. We both thought it would be better for me to go to KT because my style of play. I couldn’t get used to Etlands system. Now I’m happy where I’m at! And Best of luck to EtLand this season. They are good people. I will miss them. The rumours between the Busan coach and I are just rumours. He is a great coach and I look forward to playing for him again.” – Charles Rhodes

Rhodes is set to make $38,500 USD per month this season playing for the KT Busan SonicBoom.
