Viacheslav Kravtsov inks deal with Foshan Long Lions

Reading Time: 1 minutes

Last year he had a cup of coffee with the Phoenix Suns playing in 19 games and averaging one-point per game.

This year, Viacheslav Kravtsov will call China home as the Foshan Long Lions of the Chinese Basketball League have signed the Ukrainian center to a 1-year contract.

During a game against the New York Knicks, Markieff Morris was fouled hard by J.R. Smith. Morris retaliated causing him an ejection from the game. Since Morris was supposed to take the free-throws (and now he is kicked out of the game) New York coach Mike Woodson decides who he would like to take the free-throws for Phoenix. His decision sends the crowd into a frenzy.

Kravtsov will join 2008 NBA draft pick Devon Hardin and Lebanese wingman Fadi El-Khatib as the foreign aids for the squad.

Hardin is a 6’11 power forward while Kravstov is a 7-foot Ukrainian giant. Foshan should be a dominant inside force for this upcoming season.
