The Changwon LG Sakers Experience

Reading Time: 1 minutes

With one of the strongest basketball fan bases in South Korea, Changwon is rallying around their LG Sakers as they make a push for a KBL title. If history has any way of repeating itself, the LG Sakers will be back in the finals, a place they were in last season before falling to the Mobis Phoebus in six games.

The LG Sakers brought back the same group of players, coaching staff, and management to take care of some unfinished business. Meanwhile, other teams around the league are taking notes – scouting the LG Sakers -trying to replicate their success. The LG Sakers were the team of the new year going undefeated in the month of January helping to ease the pains of the early season struggle.

Basketball Buddha took a trip to Changwon to see what the basketball experience is all about. We spoke with star players Moon TaeJong and Kim JongKyu to get an inside perspective on the team.

changwon lg sakers’ fans suck as before.

the reason why i said ‘as before’ is that one of changwon lg sakers’ fan threw the water bottle to ulsan mobis phoebus’ head coach when he was on air for the interview after last game of finals in the previous season.

currently some of them still sustain to insist that the decision of kbl to kick off is not fair, right, appropriate and resonable.
and even, some of them say it never matters to stretch during korea national anthem, they are also korean, though.

    still suck and always suck!
