Nate Robinson cut from Xinjiang Flying Tigers

Reading Time: 1 minutes

The Xinjiang Flying Tigers flew Nate Robinson out to China for a workout, but according to sources familiar with the situation the three-time NBA slam dunk champion failed to please the coaches and has been sent back to America.

In a story posted by us last week, Robinson was seen in Hong Kong before flying out to Urumqi, Xinjiang where he competed with ex-Lakers guard Andrew Goudelock for a spot on the roster. Whatever Nate Robinson did was not enough to impress the team as he was officially cut from the tryout.

No word yet on if another Chinese team is interested, but league sources are saying it is very doubtful for Robinson to sign with another club.
