After missing the first ten games of the season due to an injury, after his replacement, Will McDonald was sent home with a broken leg, after watching his new team in China win only three games out of the ten, the NBA’s 2007 first overall draft pick made his Chinese basketball debut Sunday leading Jiangsu to a 79-76 victory over the Bayi Rockets.

Oden played 28 minutes converting on 9 of his 18 field goal attempts. He was a monster on the glass grabbing 24 rebounds to compliment his game-high 19 points.

Marshaun Brooks (former Brooklyn Nets) is Oden’s teammate in China. The two will look to push the team to a .500 record when they face the worst team in the league Tianjin on December 2nd. Oden will be tested hard against Tianjin big-man and former NBA bruiser Jason Maxiell.
