One of the longest lasting foreign coaches in China will be looking for a new job this off-season. After spending six years coaching the Dongguan Leopards, Brian Goorjian was released of his duties following a game 4 quarterfinal loss to the Guangdong Southern Tigers.

Goorjian told the Guangdong daily,

“After that last game I didn’t sleep very well. That night I drank some wine, I had a calm night. I know my time in Dongguan is over. That was my last game here, the last few days in my apartment. There are many things here that are going to stick with me for a long time. I need to say goodbye to many people. Too many people helped me here. For example, my boss, basketball friends, front office staff, even arena cleaning staff. We’ve all been together for six years, and I need to say goodbye to them one by one.”
